Extended Hours Information

Practice withdrawal from Extended Access

In September 2014, Leeds West Clinical Comminssioning Group introduced a pilot scheme which provided significant investmnet in primary care services. The funding supported the delivery of increased GP and nursing appointments.

Regretfully, the funding has been withdrawn, therefore the Practice cannot afford to continue to offer extended access to patients.

With effect from Monday 3rd April 2017  Armley Medical Practice will be open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday. We have decided to maintain the Saturday morning opening for the time being as we feel this provides an important service for patients unable to attend routine appointments during the week. You will still be able to access appointments for th HUB service held at Priory View.

Routine appointments are available to pre book via our HUB service between 07.00 - 08.00 on weekdays, 08.00-14.00 on Saturdays and 08.00 -12.00 on Sundays. For urgent appointments, the service do also offer same day appointments. To access these appointments please ring the practice as normal. if the surgery is closed a divert is in place to direct you to the HUB directly during it's operational hours.

If you are calling to enquire about blood test or xray results would you please contact the surgery between the hours of 10am - 12 noon or 2pm- 4pm.

Thank you.
