Pharmacy First provides the local population with rapid accesss to a pharmacist who can provide self-care advice on a range of minor illnesses.

Alll GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each Practice. The average pay for GPs working in Armley Medical Practice in the last financial year was £86,222 beofre tax and national insurance. this is for 6 full time GPs and 2 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.

Opening times for The Armley L12 HUB

We are now offering extended access appointments from the Armley LS12 HUB located at Priory View Medical Centre. The service is open from 8 am until 2 pm on Saturdays and 8am until 12 noon on a Sunday.

Patients can book routine and urgent appointments by contacting the surgery on 4677499 Option 1 or alternatively, contacting the HUB at Priory View Medical Practice on 2954260 (ONLY IN HUB HOURS). 

If the surgery and HUB is closed and you feel you need to see a GP urgently, please dial NHS111 for advice.

The Pharmacy First Service provides the local population with rapid access to a pharmacist who can provide self-care advice on a range of minor ailments.  These include;


Cough, sore throat, athelete's foot, fever, cold, threadworms, thrush, blocked nose, teething earache, hayfever, sprains or strain.


All patients will be offered a FREE  consultation with a pharmacist without and appointment and given advice and printed information on how to manange their condition.  In some cases a medicine may be supplied, this will be free of charge for patients exempt form prescription charges. Patients not exempt from charges will be offered advice and can purchase over the counter medicines at a much lower cost than a prescription charge.

Online access to medical records.

In addition to online appointments and prescription requests, from the 1st April 2016, patients will be able to apply to view their medical records online. These may include - test results, immunisation history, allergies, medication and a summary of your significant medical history.

Being able to see your recond online might help you manage your medical conditions. You can even access if from anywhere in the world should you require medical treatment on holiday.
